Arachnoselache

After an afternoon of boredom I started searching the internet for something to investigate or entertain, then I found many of these images of photomipulated hybrid animals, and I came across this one, s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/o… shark with spider eyes in the nose, then I thought "hell, this could be good material to make small and good speculation", and then this came, an idea about giving this aberrant organism a propely identity and purporse in this multiverse of alt evo.

The arachnoselache is a voracious predatory arthropod of about 6 m that inhabits a alternative earth where vertebrates never evolve and arthropods are the dominant group, specially in the ocean, this belongs to a very derived lineage of arachnids, developing a fleshy jaw, covering its mouth parts, has many structures derived from the filaments of the skin near the jaw that act as "teeth".
