Noisy humpback

Recently I was looking at the use of sperm whales as a weapon (which until now seems to be disproved), and then I thought to create this concept based on it, at least to take the idea of creating strong sounds to harm prey, or in this case, to potential predators, this applied to a creature of Darwin IV considering that all macro-organisms lack eyes and use sound to visualize their surroundings.

This is the Noisy humpback is a 3 meter high herbivore that inhabits the plains and savannas of Darwin IV, characterized by its huge and bulging hump that makes up 1/3 of the size of the body, it houses a huge adipose structure similar to the cetacean melons, which perform a specific function, generating a strong but short sonic wave which stuns potential predators, and giving a window to escape. In order to be able to resonate such an organ, it has two respiratory slits on each side of the body that reach into special air sacs, which contains the air until it is released in the tubular cavity below the "melon".


I must say that I am not sure how plausible this idea is, if it is improbable, it could probably be that this organism uses the great melon just to obtain a good view of its surroundings better that others species, or for communication.
