Description
The tyran lizard king, one of the largest theropod predators and probably the best known, with a weight of about 8 metric tons, 12 meters of lenght and a heigh of almost 4 meters.
I think the only comment I am going to make of this sketch about the feater-scale topic is just the distribution, I did not want something as dense as it looks in some recent representations but at the same time I did not want to leave it so bald and being complete scaled, so try to balance the quantity of filaments that could cover the front area of the animal, and the rest covered by both scales and barely perceptible tegument (something like some barely bald birds) except of the tail, part of the legs, most of the bottom part and the face which would be just scale covering.
Note: Do not try to use my sketch as an example of how the tegument could be distributed in Tyrannosaurus as a basis for assuming things, I did it in very speculative way.

Love this feathered rex. It might be accurate based on current evidence.
